Anniversary Edition: Celebrating One Year of Collective Empowerment

What began as a whisper has grown into a collective heartbeat. This year, Inside Wise Women’s Wisdom has held our grounding, our questions, our courage, and the beautiful both/and of being human. This anniversary edition celebrates our shared growth and evolving wisdom.

Anniversary Edition: Celebrating One Year of Collective Empowerment

It’s Our Anniversary!

A year ago, I released the first edition of Inside Wise Women’s WisdomThe Political is Personal—as a way to acknowledge and give voice to the complex emotional landscape so many women were navigating following the presidential election. It was a simple offering, born from what I was witnessing in my clinical work and experiencing personally.

Since then, this publication has become a steady space for reflection, grounding, and connection. What began quietly has grown into a thoughtful community of women committed to showing up for themselves with honesty, compassion, and courage. Week by week, edition by edition, we’ve been practicing what it means to live our wisdom—not perfectly, but intentionally.

Reflections from the Journey

Creating Inside Wise Women’s Wisdom this past year has taken me through a profound range of emotions—overwhelmed and energized, isolated and deeply connected, insecure and profoundly purpose-driven. The perpetual both/and of being human.

This work has stretched me far beyond my comfort zone. I am still practicing using my voice in ways that feel honest but not always easy. Many of you have shared similar experiences: navigating visibility, honoring boundaries, unlearning old conditioning, and choosing empowerment one micro-decision at a time.

Every message, reflection, and shared moment has reminded me that we are not doing this alone. The threads of our stories strengthen one another.

Last week, I stretched myself by sharing something deeply personal with our WW Insiders and Professionals: Freya’s Whisper, my own expressive art process rooted in radical acceptance and informed by interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB) and expressive arts therapy (EXA). Offering it privately required vulnerability, but it felt aligned with the embodied, creative work we practice together. If you feel drawn to more intimate offerings like this, you’re invited into the trusted WW Insider circle.

I’m committing to you—and to myself—to continue stretching my comfort zone so I can use my voice with deeper authenticity and vulnerability as we move forward together.

Freya’s Whisper: My Expressive Art of Radical Acceptance
In the stillness of the forest, the goddess Freya whispered a truth I had long resisted: radical acceptance is the path to peace. For the first time, I’m sharing my personal expressive artwork exclusively with my trusted WW Insiders & Professionals.

A Year of Wisdom, Healing & Embodied Practice

Throughout this first year, we explored themes at the heart of women’s emotional, relational, and embodied wellbeing:

  • Special editions responding to the moment in time
  • Mindful grounding & personal check-ins
  • Rest, recovery, and honoring human limits
  • Boundary-setting and asserting needs
  • Shame resilience and empathetic connection
  • Self-love, self-worth, and self-acceptance
  • Emotional regulation & nervous system care
  • Motivation, habit change, and the WISE-ASS Woman's Way
  • Celebration, joy, and radically acknowledging our power

These issues have been supported through:

  • 44 editions + monthly WW Gatherings
  • Our community space
  • Shared stories, artwork, breathwork, practices, and reflections that have woven us together

All editions from this first year are available in our Full Index for revisiting, reflection, and continued practice.
